It's been short and sweet for Plain Jane Superbrain and her return stint, as the popular character bows out again on Wednesday after receiving some sad news. After a flirty lunch and a heart-to-heart with Paul Robinson, Jane is rocked by a phone call from home which reveals that her nan Mrs Mangel has died.
Knowing that she needs to get back to London to arrange the funeral, Jane says her goodbyes to Ramsay Street once again – but not before she finally gets her hands on that valuable book of stamps she's been searching for.
